The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend has grown to become one of Vallejo’s major outdoor events highlighting all the Waterfront has to offer.
This two-day festival will celebrate the City of Vallejo, Historic Mare Island and Solano County. Vallejo Waterfront Weekend will showcase why we choose to live, work, and play in this vibrant community.

This race is one of the signature events of the weekend and is open to anyone and everyone who can pull a team together and the $200 application fee. No experience necessary! For your application fee you will receive the following:
- Rowing instruction
- Use of boats and equipment
- Certified coxswain to steer the boat
- Bowhook to be the eyes for the coxswain

The Paddle Race is simply that… bring anything that can be paddled get across the finish line first. It doesn’t matter if you have a kayak, a canoe, a stand-up paddle board, a surfboard, or any water-going contraption you can build.
It’s a fun race for all, so bring your paddle and get out on the water!
